Thank you for your interest in working with our youth and families through part-time employment with the South Carolina Youth Advocate Program (SCYAP). Part-time employment opportunities are available throughout the state in all of our Community-Based Service programs.

We are seeking professional adults (21+) interested in working one-on-one with a youth and/or a family group with emotional and behavioral needs. As an “Advocate” through our company, you can provide behavior modification, independent living skills training, and/or therapy services within the youth/family’s home, school, or community. In addition, we are always looking for individuals interested in providing transportation to youth and their families throughout the state. We employ Advocates and Transporters on a part-time basis with a variety of educational backgrounds and experience levels.

All part-time employment is considered contingent, which means that employment with SCYAP is dependent upon a specific work assignment. As a part-time employee, there is no explicit or implicit contract or agreement for ongoing employment with SCYAP. Employment is dependent upon receipt of personnel documentation, clear background reports, proof of appropriate auto insurance and satisfactory motor vehicle records checks.

To get started in becoming part of the SCYAP Community-Based Services team, please complete the Advocate Inquiry Form below:
